Most of you are eager to know the end of the story I posted on Wednesday. You
don't have to worry, like I promised, we will continue the story today. Let hope we wrap it up today

………………………….Ifeoma Story Continues……..…..
“My
marriage has ended. Oh my God, how will I explain
this to my husband? He’s AA and I’m AS.
Ifeoma lamented….
'This must be Abel’s baby.” She cried as she remembered that Abel is AS. It then dawn on her that Abel got her pregnant from that affair they had a week to her wedding.
‘Oh
my God, what have I done? And there’s no way I
can make Emeka the father of this baby.
Emeka is a good man, he doesn’t deserve this……
The Doctor returned the baby and found Ifeoma crying.
“Madam
you don’t have to cry. Your baby will be alright.” He
said and left.
Ifeoma looked at her baby with disgust. “My husband will definitely find out. What am I going to do?” She mused. She thought about the mockery and the shame she’ll be subjected to if her marriage fail. Her parent would be so disappointed in her. She knew Emeka will not remain married to her when he discovers. Even if he wants to, his family will never accept that fact. She had grew to love Emeka so much and she wasn’t ready to lose a god man like that………………………………….
She turned to the baby, picked up a syringe that was beside her. She thrust it through the baby’s immature belly button.
Her baby cried out in deep pains. She muffled her baby’s cries with a pillow and stabbed the baby more with the syringe as she suffocate the baby at the same time.
That moment the Doctor came in. “What! Madam!
What are you doing?” He asked eyes wide open in disbelieve.
‘Oh
my God!!!!!! “You just killed your innocent baby.”
He said after checking for the baby’s pulse.
Ifeoma was so perplexed “Please, you must not tell my husband. I beg you. My marriage will end. The baby is not his. Please Doctor don’t tell him.” she cried to the doctor.
No, “You’re a murderer. I can’t conceal this. Not from your husband. He has been my friend for over 20years now. I can’t lie to him!” The doctor yelled.
Ifeoma begged so much and finally bribed the doctor with 10 million naira to keep shut.
The Doctor accepted the bribe. The number was too huge to allow moral scruples on honesty to win his conscience.
He
cleaned up the dead baby. He framed up the death and Benita cooperated with crocodile tears. .
Emeka returned and met his wife crying. He almost lost his sanity hearing that his baby is dead. It took him sometime to forget the lost. He really wanted to be a father.

Intermission…………… Right now Ifeoma is currently happy that all had gone well………………… Just like some of you who might think your secret is well covered up and you will take it to your grave…. Your believing thought is that ‘No one need to know, I have settled it with God’. Remember, there is no hidden place under the sun…………………………………..

Few days
later, Ifeoma paid the doctor the agreed
amount of money. And everything was swept
under the rug. Emeka never knew his wife killed
their baby. They lived as a happy couple
as before.
A
year later, at a particular day, Ifeoma went to visit her husband at his company.
She
ran into me. We were both surprised. We never
expected to meet again.
I told her how I was recently
transferred to the company.
You
mean you work for this company? Ifeoma asked in amusement.
Yes, I got the job immediately I moved to Abuja after my wedding. I was a manager at one of the local branch of the company, the boss saw how well I manage the business so he recommended me to the board to be transferred to the headquarter here in Lagos. And you, what are you doing here? I asked……
Ifeoma
told me the company belongs to her husband.
What! I shouted looking so surprised, you mean Mr Emeka is your husband, how come I didn’t know, he speaks a lot about his loving wife, so it was you after all………I knew you would be a great wife, I am happy for you. And I’m sorry for the loss of your child last year, it was really a big torment for the boss, we all did share in the pain.
Ifeoma already looking so tired and a bit indisposed nodded her head as response to all I said, she requested for my number and told me we still had a lot to talk about.
We
exchange numbers and went our different way……………………
Meeting
Abel brought Ifeoma into another stage of confusion. Different thought were
going on in her mind, What if he tells my husband about the event that happened
between us? No he can’t, if he does, it will also affect his marriage… What if I start having feeling for him again?
Oh no!!!! This can’t happen. Abel mustn’t be around my family.
Intermission………………......……………………………..
One morning, I arrived at the office and the secretary told me my boss Emeka requested to see me immediately. Anxious to know why he needed me so urgently, I went straight to his office. After a knock on the door, he told me to come in.
‘Good morning sir, I greeted him’
‘Good
morning Mr Abel, have a seat……. I want to have a serious discussion with you’. Let talk like brothers.
‘Ok sir,
I said looking a bit disturb, what can this be, I thought………………….
Abel, please tell me,how
do you cope knowing you are HIV positive? You put your heads high like nothing
is wrong. You live as if all is well with you. You accepted your faith……………………
Ok guys
let pause here for today. I know there are lots of questions going through your
mind right now.
- How did Abel contacted HIV?
- Was it from Ifeoma?
- Does Ifeoma has HIV and she doesn’t know?
- Does that mean Emeka is also infected?
I
know those are Questions you are eager to get answers to. Not to worry; I will
surely get the answers to you. Just stay patient and stay tune.
